Chainmail?

Strange as it may seem. A few months back I did a shoot with stylist/model scout/coach Mike Stallings who had with him the most unusual wardrobe... chain mail! Now I know we're about 1000 years behind the times on this one but, but we'll just call it retro. Anyway when he mentioned that he had it I was fascinated with the opportunity to shoot it. Apparently a designer he knows makes it and somehow incorporates it into his designs. So Mike got his hands on some samples and wanted to use it as part of an image launch for his 2012 mens models line up (http://umodelsmanagement.wordpress.com/). Since he only had one shirt and hood we would do individual portraits. We decided to do something outdoors and settled on Central Park, which offered both an easy to find location and a natural backdrop. I decided on an area known as "The Ramble" with it's deeply wooded paths, rock formations and stone bridges really hides the fact that you're in the middle of the city very nicely.
